Using the blind form submit approach, you can create a link that submits an Eloqua form when someone clicks it. Add the site ID, Eloqua HTML form name, your testing email address and any custom parameters you want to pass through.

The tool below generates two URLs: the production-style blind form URL using Eloqua's email address merge field, and a test URL using your own email address so you can check the form submit before adding it to a campaign.

What This Builds

A URL in the format https://now.eloqua.com/e/f2.aspx?elqFormName=...&elqSiteID=...&e=..., plus any extra field/value pairs you add.

Blind Form Submit URL Generator

Fill in the required fields, add up to five optional custom parameters, then generate your links.

  • Eloqua Site ID is the numeric ID for your Eloqua instance.
  • Eloqua HTML Form Name is the form name from the form HTML.
  • Your Email Address is only used for the test link.
  • Custom Parameters are appended as extra query string fields.

Custom Parameters

1. Build

Use the tool to create the blind submit URL that includes the Eloqua form name, site ID and field values.

2. Test

Open the generated test link with your email address and confirm the form submit appears in Eloqua.

3. Use

Copy the production URL into the campaign asset and let Eloqua populate the contact email merge field.

A Few Practical Notes

  • Make sure the Eloqua form processing steps can handle a submit without a visible landing page form.
  • Use the test link before adding the production URL to an email or campaign canvas.
  • Keep field names exact. Query string parameter names need to match the field names the Eloqua form expects.
  • Only use blind submits where the click action is clear to the recipient and makes sense for the campaign experience.

Simple.
